    Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

    Finally got to watch it.

The part that caught my attention was definitely the sinking of those super hot Aircraft Carriers. It really sank like Titanic man. Hahahahh! But you can't entirely blame Titanic. Kate Winslet was on board. And boy was she huge then. Like Titanic, with those passengers hanging on to the ship's rotors, this time is different, the bad ass decepticon was hanging on to the rotors with style....... ;P

Anyway, story was a bit aimless. Wasn't that strong. And the robots were like all over the place. I kinda like the fight scene in the forest. Fantastic display by Optimus. It could have been longer with Ironhide joining in. That is one hell of a power packed fellow with an attitude man. ;)

It's true that all the autobots at some point did disappear..... They could very well be all making out with Megan Fox. Ever wonder where were they when Optimus was being pounded in the forest?

It was also obvious that all the extra decepticons were all over the place playing around. What were they actually doing? Reminded me so much of the spoiler in Braveheart. Where at one point in one of the major battles, you could actually see fighters goofing around. Such spoilers.

Devastator which originated from the Constructicons was supposed to be an enormous robot but somehow got distorted in the movie. It ended up looking like a sand eating Dog.... what the hell. =S

And best part is that the Twins could fight that Big Dog.

And what's up with Bay? Even the remote control car was humping Megan. =X
Isn't this movie supposed to be meant for kids as well.

    I give......
    2/5 for the story
    3.5/5 for the robots
    4/5 for animation
    overall abt 3/5

I'll describe this movie to be a mindless one. I still prefer the 1st movie.

K man, I'm almost suckered into this thingy. Just to keep it short. Batt life will prob be sucky. Can't stick the sms buttons. You have to angle your thumb just to hit the right key. Some claim it actually works well. Or how should I put it ..... you'll prob be shooting yourself in the foot if you were to be criticising something you actually bought. That aside, I have been trying one out and it seems kinda fun to be surfing the web with this thing. It's quite fast. But..... but..... but my Nokia e90 is still working so darn well. Oh well..... we'll see how it goes...... Here's a dude with his Iphone 3GS taking a dip. Enjoy!! ;)

Love is Patient, Love is Kind

Just shot a wedding at St Vincent de Paul's Church on the 20 June 2009 (Sat) and the reading was something which I always found so meaningful. If only we took some time to listen, understand and learn from it. I'm sure all relationships will flourish.

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

    Evony in Crystal Jade

Of late I have been looking out for Ultima Online for mac os. But I guess it's just not practical for this machine of mine since it's supposed to be for work only. But the hunt goes on. Until I saw a banner on some website. It read..... Evony Online (www.evony.com). And it sure looks so similar. Had a go at it and it sure seems just as fun. But I will never forget those times in Ultima Online. A place I call home, a place where exciting moments with friends were spent. And it's one hell of a ride when you're hooked, you're not gonna leave the land of Napa Valley easy.
But what the heck, Evony is free!!! ;) Can't believe I'm in Crystal Jade getting my stats up ;P Well it's dinner time anyway. A time of peace and quiet. And a time of rest. So stop the nagging.......I want my peace. ;)

Look out for me. I'm on Server 9 (State: North March) & World 9 (State: Saxony)

    What Seems Like a Surprise!

K what seems like a surprise is none other than Gallarxhar from Monsters vs. Aliens.

After Clue no.1 and no.2, I thought it was some Acme Cartoon character. Looks very much a like the Road Runner. But it turned out to be from Mc Donald's Happy Meal. What the ...... ! ;P

When obsession kicks in, even when taking a photo, one will keep the name of Edward in within view. Uber Obsessed!!! ;P

    Thermal Thursday

This crazy weather is definitely here to stay, it was just so damn hot, with waves radiating my brains, while having my lunch, I decided to check out on some info abt this El Nino Effect and stumble upon this article. It shows the ozone layer having gone from bad to worst within the last 30 yrs. Severe depletion of the Antarctic ozone layer was first observed in the early 1980s. Totally Madness.

    Monsters vs. Aliens

It's finally about time I start looking for a belt for my riding. ;) And just as I went to tamp, I thought I saw a Puma one.. Not bad man! Locked and focused. Then off to NTUC for some Wasabi Chips. bought 4 packs.......and then kena tekaned by X again. Action only...... this person.

Went by to CJ again ..... what's new and I think I'm starting to like the CJ's signature roasted pork. Will have to slow down on the duck for awhile. Will still need the sour plum sauce for an extra kick tho. Then came a call from Ah Xuan. As always will chio me out at the last minute. He prob thinks I'm some kinda prostitute. When exclaimed, suddenly I heard a LOL. Wah lau, from a straight face, I also ended up LOL. Unbelievable! =X

And then back to the movies. Monsters vs. Aliens this time. And now lets see who's the biggest clown. Double checked on the sitting locations just outside the theatre. Was obvious the left side was the Theatre 5. But Nooooo~ Some joker. I don't know who....... but I'm sure you might guessed it...... went to the right side instead. Ended up in Theatre 6. with a half screening of Night at the Museum 2. Power! LOL~

LoL!!!! Finally managed to enjoy the show. As always DreamWorks has done it again with those super realistic hair strands on their animations. LiS *heehee*..... Everything.....everthing looks so real. In terms of humour, i still prefer Monsters Inc. but this is definitely a good watch. Jello part was a real killer. HAhahahah! 7.5/10

And thanks to Kim, everything had to be cut short. Prediction of a certain flooding at T2.

    A Beautiful Thought

0 leave a comment (no login required)

Heard some wonderful pointers from Father last Sunday.

Once an old man was walking down a street when he heard a cry, "Help me! Help Me!" He turn to the side and found a frog. And the frog said to him, "If you kiss me, I will turn into a Beautiful Princess and will love you with all my heart and follow you wherever you go." But the old man continued walking. The frog then became curious and asked the old man,"why won't you kiss me so that I may be with you whole heartedly."

The old man answer,"I'll be better off with a talking frog instead of a beautiful Princess"

    Food for thought:
    1. It is afterall a form of union that we all long for and we cannot live life alone.

** When we give alms to the poor, the poor do pray for us instead of envy us. This is indeed a beautful cycle.

    Terminator Salvation

2 leave a comment (no login required)

As usual, predicted and it came true. Ate till we lost track of time to get Sing $ tickets. Tsk!

Was supposed to wack Imperial Treasure with X, but ended up at the Moon instead. Can't help it. The sukiyaki is just to good to miss.

Then I taught a thing or two abt the potential of a D40 to this Canon/Nikon user. Simple stuff nothing fancy =P Forgive me Canon fans.

Then it was about time to hit Terminator Salvation. Heard from Damian it was a good show. Said it was 8/10 with 2 hours of non stop action. And as always, I have to take it with a pinch of salt.

It was definitely a reasonably good show with Batman's Christian Bale and Sam Worthington with cameo appearance, Arnold Schwarzenegger. HA! I just screwed it. ;P
I say it's good for just 7/10. The CGI was reasonably good. But for some reason, I felt the scope of view was a little to tight. Bah!

    Nice wallpapers. I Like!
